Casey Sheridan is a lifetime resident of Kiowa County and was raised in the town of Eads. Sheridan attended and graduated from the Eads High School, then attended the Colorado Mountain College Police Academy in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Upon graduating, he was hired by the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office as a road deputy in 2006.
Sheridan’s knowledge and work ethic earned him the rank of Corporal in 2007 and then Sergeant in 2008. In August of 2009 Sheridan was appointed as the Undersheriff of Kiowa County.
February of 2014 Casey Sheridan was sworn in as Sheriff of Kiowa County when Sheriff Forrest Frazee retired from office.
Sheridan has served with the Eads Volunteer Fire Department since 1995. He has served as the Department’s Chief, and Assistant Chief.
